el próximo año. les agradezco a uds por realizar un evento como este, es el evento donde se logran sueños de superacion al lograr vencer algo que es realmente retador,
pero que al final queda como algo inolvidable y que deja la sensacion de querer hacerlo una vez mas,como me pasa a mi,saludos.

When I decided to take part in one of the Q50 Trail Races, I asked myself what better place to do so than the beautiful country of Costa Rica? I had never traveled there previously and after my experience, I can honestly say I would book my flight for next year’s race tomorrow!
I signed up for the 15 kilometer “fun run” with questionable thoughts of how much fun can 9.3 miles really be? Turns out, it was truly the most enjoyable race I have ever run to date. The rain forest terrains of Costa Rica made a 15k race seem like a Sunday stroll through the park. The unexpected weather on the other hand was not quite as complimentary as the remarkable scenic trails. With temperature and humidity in the upper 90’s,  the steep hills weren’t the only obstacle to conquer. Luckily for me training predominantly in New Orleans with similar weather conditions made me feel right at home. My hat goes off to the 40 and 80 kilometer contestants who endured such a difficult race course in addition to the unexpected extreme heat and humidity. I look forward to following their footsteps and attempting to complete the 40k race in 2011.

Overall, the Q50 Race team put together yet another successful running event. I felt confident that if I needed assistance, there were a number of Q50 volunteers to provide me with direction, rehydration, and medical treatment if necessary. The race directors and volunteers are the ones who make this kind of race not only possible but enjoyable. And for that, I would like to thank everyone at Q50 for my unforgettable race experience in Costa Rica. Pura Vida!

Ni siquiera lo intentaría sino fuera porque sé que es un evento de lujo. Hay oportunidades de mejora pero por segundo año se lucieron como organizadores.

Q50 Costa Rica race was awesome! So sad it's over. Had a great time and finished before I was expecting. This place is like a dream ;-)

Dehydration, vomiting, GI issues and severe cramping forced me to pull out of the race.
110 degrees w 80% humidity proved a little too much for me, 1st DNF ever, reflecting and
trying to stay positive and learn from this instead of getting discouraged.
Really happy for my group who had two 1st place females and a new buddy who came in 2nd male.
hardest race ive done and through the pain i loved every minute of it.

Esta Q50 me permitió vivir instantes maravillosos que no esperaba que existirían en 80 Km:compartir con otros seres humanos,disfrutar la naturaleza,recorrer lugares que no conocía,fortalecer mi disposición a luchar por un objetivo, recibir gestos de solidaridad, entender que se puede disfrutar en en situaciones de fatiga y que es más gratificante compartir que competir contra otros, descubrir que existen personas como ustedes que apoyan, se desvelan y trabajan con el corazón para que todo esto suceda.

ULTRAMARATON Q50 MEXICO - Febrero 2009 - Kohunlich

Estimado César y a su gran equipo colaborador.

Antes que nada una felicitación, por tan magnifico evento, el que  
organizaste en Chetumal, junto con todos tus colaboradores, fue una  
experiencia única, el correr nocturnamente, con los sonidos de la  
naturaleza en su pleno apogeo, el compartir con los demás  
competidores la carrera, el correr solo, (me tocó correr los últimos 
40 km solo), los primeros nos fuimos acompañados,  Toño García y  
Carlos Ceballos.

Yo le he estado dando seguimiento a tus eventos, desde que tuve  
conocimiento del primero que hiciste en la Patagonia, estaba  
emocionado y tuve intenciones de participar, pero creo que aun no  
era el momento, después, asistí a una plica que dieron en una tienda 
de deporte en la AV. San Antonio, cuando promocionaste el evento de 
Matagalpa, Nicaragua y también trate de participar, pero no me fue
posible, hasta ahora que al fin logre uno de mis objetivos  
personales y que era  participar en un Ultramaraton, una experiencia 
única!

Realmente recibe una Cordial Felicitación a ti y a todo tu equipo de 
trabajo! Por tan gran evento!
